The Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education has updated the examination dates again on February 27, 2019. Due to the stressful situation in the state, the JKBOSE has postponed the examinations of 8th, 9th, 10th and 12th class. As per the decision was taken in the meeting of Prof. Veena Pandita, the JKBOSE board has also issued the notification. According to the notice, the examinations 10th and 12th class which were scheduled on March 02 and March 01, 2019 have been postponed. However, the new examination dates have not been published. It will be declared soon.
So, now, the examinations of Social Science (10th class) and Computer Science/Informatics Practices/Environmental Science/Functional English/Physical Education/Islamic Studies/Vedic Studies/Buddhist Studies/Electronics (12th class) will not be conducted on the designated schedule. It will be held later. The rest of the examinations of the secondary and senior secondary will be conducted on the same dates available on the date sheet. On the other hand, the examinations which were scheduled on February 28, 2019, have been cancelled. The new dates for these examinations will be declared later. The rest of the examinations will be held on the previously defined dates.
